Project Description:
The Design Build Project included engineering and construction for the construction of two tolled express lanes and a general purpose lane from Orange County line to I-15 and a general purpose lane to Pierce Street. Build a new direct connector between eastbound SR-91 and northbound SR-71 and a separate eastbound road between Green River Road interchange and 71/91 interchange. Build new direct connectors linking SR-91 and I-15 tolled express lanes. The projected area impacted over 130 franchise utilities including transmission size gas, electric and communication facilities.
Utility Specialists’ Scope of work
Utility Specialists was responsible for the identification, determination of impact, concept relocation plans, area of environmental impact, and cost estimates for the gas, electric, communications, and fuel systems within the project boundary. In addition, Utility Specialists was responsible for the coordination of Utility Company relocation designs as well as relocation construction coordination.
