Project Description:
Study and review of conceptual highway expansion and bridge relocations to determine dry utility conflicts with the proposed infrastructure expansion. Project includes the relocation of numerous distribution and transmission facilities.
Utility Specialists’ Scope of work:
Utility Specialists was responsible for coordinating the study of over 60 distribution and transmission relocations to accommodate future roadway and bridge construction as well as a staged bridge construction. We created conceptual plans for relocation and opinion of probable costs based on that plan, using our proprietary software, as well as an estimate of the construction duration. Utility Specialists coordinated with local stakeholders and agencies ensuring all parties were represented and needs were met in order to accurately prioritize construction as a result of the study.
